Travel to Lake Nakuru via Thompson Falls

Travel to Lake Nakuru via Thompson Falls

Enjoy breakfast before heading towards Nakuru town, stopping at Thompson Falls en route. After lunch overlooking the falls, continue to Lake Nakuru for an evening guided walk at Congrave Conservancy.

Take in the scenic beauty of Thompson Falls before venturing towards the lake region known for its flamingos.

Lake Nakuru National Park Exploration

Start the day with a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famed for its rhinos and buffaloes. After lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, return to the park for more wildlife encounters before heading back to camp for dinner.

The park offers a chance to see white rhinos, African buffaloes, and possibly flamingos at the lake's edge.

Return to Nairobi

Return to Nairobi

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi for your departure or onward journey. Reflect on the incredible wildlife encounters of the past week.

This marks the end of your safari adventure through Kenya's iconic national parks and reserves.

What's included

Accommodation on Full Board Basis during the safari (unless otherwise stated).
Transportation: Includes a 4X4 Safari Land Cruiser (5-7 seaters) for safari, an English-speaking driver/guide, and city transfers in deluxe vehicles such as Alphard or Deluxe 4x4.
Assistance from Client Relations Officers & Representatives for meet-and-greet services, safari briefings, and debriefings in Nairobi.
VIP Assistance Option (fast-track service through Immigration and Customs) is available at an additional cost of $30 per person.
Registration with AMREF Flying Doctors for emergency medical evacuation services.
Game drives and park entrance fees are covered.
Mineral water during the safari is available in a refrigerated water tank in the vehicles. Clients should bring refillable water bottles. Reusable 1/2-litre bottles can be purchased for $10/€10 per bottle, with proceeds donated to a conservation cause.
Safari hats and luggage tags are crafted by a self-help group.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is required and costs $30 per person (apply here).
International and domestic flights are not included unless specified.
Vaccinations and personal insurance must be arranged separately.
Optional activities and excursions not listed in the itinerary are excluded.
Drinks that are not included in the itinerary must be purchased separately.
Gratuities for guides, drivers, and staff are not included.
Laundry and other personal expenses are not covered.

Luggage restrictions apply, with a maximum of 15 kg (one piece per person) in soft duffel bags due to vehicle space limitations. Weight restrictions apply to local safari flights.
Excess luggage storage and transfer can be arranged if luggage cannot be kept at the base hotel in Nairobi. It can be stored at the company’s office. A $50 fee will apply for transferring the luggage back to the client at the end of the safari.
