Nairobi – Aberdare

Begin your safari at 09:00 hrs with a scenic drive through Kenya’s Central Highlands, passing lush pineapple, tea, and coffee plantations. Arrive at Aberdare Country Club for lunch before transferring to The Ark Lodge in club vehicles. Spend the evening and night viewing wildlife from the lodge’s precincts. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at The Ark Lodge.

Day 1

Nairobi – Aberdare

Begin your safari at 09:00 hrs with a scenic drive through Kenya’s Central Highlands, passing lush pineapple, tea, and coffee plantations. Arrive at Aberdare Country Club for lunch before transferring to The Ark Lodge in club vehicles. Spend the evening and night viewing wildlife from the lodge’s precincts. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at The Ark Lodge.

Day 2

Aberdare – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast at The Ark, transfer back to Aberdare Country Club to rejoin your safari guide and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. En route, make a brief stop at the picturesque Thompson Falls in Nyahururu. Arrive at your lodge for lunch and later enjoy an afternoon game drive, where sightings of white rhinos and African buffaloes are almost guaranteed. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 3

Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

Depart after breakfast at 07:30 hrs and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley, passing scenic lakes Elementaita and Naivasha. Continue via Mai Mahiu and Narok Town before arriving at Maasai Mara in time for lunch. At 16:00 hrs, embark on an afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, renowned for its abundant wildlife and dramatic landscapes. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay at Sarova Mara Camp, Deluxe Tent.

Day 4

Masai Mara

Spend the day exploring the Maasai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives, with the possibility of seeing the Big Five. Alternatively, opt for a full-day game drive with packed lunch, allowing more time to discover the reserve’s vast and diverse terrain. Enjoy all meals and an overnight stay at Sarova Mara Camp, Deluxe Tent.

Note

You'll need to decide as a group whether you'd like to do a full day game drive or to return back to the camp for lunch.

Day 5

Maasai Mara – Nairobi – Departure

After breakfast at 07:30 hrs, begin your return drive to Nairobi, arriving in the early afternoon. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight. Transfers will be arranged 3-4 hours prior to your flight time. Safe travels!
